The TIDA-00483 reference design showcases a 4-20mA current loop subsystem that measures the surrounding environment and communicates temperature, humidity, and ambient light over the loop. Its compact footprint houses all sensors, filters, and control circuitry to compute and transmit sensor data. Intended for process measurement in factory automation, field transmitters, and building automation, the design runs sensors, MCU, and communication modules on less than 3.5 mA from the current loop power.
