The RunAbout from Schildkröt is a classic junior scooter made of light and rustproof aluminum. By simply adjusting the handlebar height, the scooter can be used by a wide range of age groups. When folded up quickly, the scooter can also be easily transported. The subtle but trendy design makes the RunAbout a real highlight. The deck: the aluminum deck has a griptape with a trendy design, which ensures a safe stand. The deck has a size of 48 x 10cm and offers enough space for larger feet. Thanks to the high quality aluminum, the total weight of the scooter is only 2.6kg. The one-click mechanism including a quick release clamp for additional security enables the scooter to be folded up easily and quickly. The RunAbout can be easily stowed away and transported. Handlebar & steering tube: the handlebar and steering tube are also made of high-quality aluminum. The handlebar has a width of 32cm, the handlebar ends can be folded down on both sides for a compact transport size. The handlebars of the RunAbout are made of comfortable, non-slip foam. With a locking mechanism attached to the handlebar plus a quick release clamp, the handlebar height can be adjusted between 76cm - 86cm (3-fold) for different body sizes. Wheels & brakes: the 145mm large and non-slip PU wheels are ideal for a safe driving. Smooth-running ABEC5 ball bearings are included in this scooter. There is a sturdy steel brake on the rear wheel, which also functions as a mudguard. The scooter is delivered pre-assembled in a transport box with handle.
