It's designed for desktop or overhead projector use, featuring a plastic dish and base with terminals that allow precise height adjustment of electrodes. Six electrodes are included: two point sources, two line sources, and two circular rings. Fill the dish 6-8 mm deep with liquid paraffin or another non-conducting fluid (not included). Sprinkle a small amount of semolina (also not included) evenly on the liquid's surface. Connect the terminals to the power supply, and field patterns will form in the semolina.
