Introducing the Adrel DeployMax, the most compact, lightweight single event altimeter available. Now, you can leverage the proven Adrel altimeter algorithms to both record peak altitudes and trigger recovery system deployment. This tiny device can fit into a 1/2" diameter tube, depending on the igniter battery chosen. For years, the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) has trusted Adrel altimeters for world championships. These units showcase exceptional engineering, both in hardware and software. Having personally installed more of these units worldwide than anyone else, I became the exclusive worldwide distributor. When I saw the need for a small, single event deployment altimeter, I turned to Leszek Swed, the mastermind behind the Adrel altimeter, to explore the possibility. Within days, he presented a design for consideration, leading to the birth of the Adrel DeployMax. Certified by the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) for competition flights and record attempts, it's designed and manufactured by Adrel Electronics in Krakow, Poland. The DeployMax deployment altitudes are user-programmable, from 100% (peak) to a 50m minimum. The software ensures it never triggers early by looking for a certain number of counts in decreasing altitude. It fires close to the 'true' apogee, ensuring you capture the flight's highest possible altitude. The Adrel DeployMax is intended for advanced modelers only, requiring some electrical work to connect the ignition battery and the igniter. It runs on Windows 10 only and needs the data port (#812A) for data download and altitude setting. You'll need: a PC running Windows 10, a USB Type AB cable, a battery and charger for the deployment charge starter (1S 3.7V Lithium polymer 120-180mah recommended), the Adrel Battery Charger/Data Port (#812A) for data download only, the Adrel DeployMax Software, wires and connectors to connect the unit to the starter and battery, and the MJG Firewire Initiator, an ATF non-regulated initiator.
