These are great but for a smaller space. Thought they would be brighter but for a small space or to light up a painting it is a great light fixture. Works great as an artwork spotlight fixture for wall hangings. Such a wonderful piece of track lighting, lights up perfectly. You can adjust the lights respectively and aim where You want. Bright and modern appearance fits well with my "anything goes" decor. You imagine for a person with actual taste in decorating, this would be a very good choice that can be configured for many uses. This light fixture is best used to add accent lighting, or to light up a closet. Track lighting is awesome. The way you can position them to point in any direction. This one is perfect for a kitchen light. Its got a shorter track and its super easy to install. Beware: two pronged GU 10 socket, not screw in bulbs. from the top of the lamp base inside, to the edge of the housing is only a little over two inches . One should keep this in mind when choosing GU10 lamps. The removable light tubes make it very easy to install the bulbs. Installed this in a closet, provides great light, and is a nice compact size to install in a tight space while looking nice and providing plenty of light. It’s adjustable to highlight certain areas like spotlights. Nothing fancy or heavy duty about the fixture but it is decent looking and blends in well if you have other track lighting in your house. The spotlight housings have full range of motion; too far in one direction and they click to stop; however, the desired angle can be reached by rotating the opposite direction if one is stopped in the first direction. Being able to adjust the light I was able to place them a way as to not throw any light to the living room to not bother when the TV is being watched. This is great for when you need more targeted lighting instead of light for the entire area. The fixture comes with your standard mounting plate and is a basic three wire connection. Light was easy to install. Everything matches the same after taking the old fixture off. Black wire to black wire, white wire to white wire and ground to ground or to the green screw, you can do either.
